Deep Lead

I followed the forest out to Deep Lead. Stopping at a bushland reserve that I have not been to for probably 20 years. As there seemed to be no car access, I was surprised to see how thick on the ground the plants are. I suppose a lot less people go there than in the main forest. Saved from motor bikes and 4 wheel drives it is an unexplored treasure. The Flame Heath Astroloma conostephioides, Epacridaceae, or Emu Bush as it is more commonly called is out in flower.
Along with many Brush Heath, Brachyloma ericoides.
Beautiful Spreading Wattle, Acacia genistifolia.
